Apple started shipping the new Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and if you have pre-ordered it, chances are you already got hold of your copies or it is definitely on its way to your doorsteps now. Some Apple stores may already have it on their shelves by now.
Time to fire up Software Update once again to make way for Mac OS X 10.5.8
The 10.5.8 Update is recommended for all users running Mac OS X Leopard and includes general operating system fixes that enhance the stability, compatibility and security of your Mac, as well as specific fixes for:
- compatibility and reliability issues when joining AirPort networks.
- an issue that could cause some monitor resolutions to no longer appear in Displays System Preferences.
- issues that may affect Bluetooth reliability.

Skype updated their Mac OS X application to Skype 2.8 and is now promising some new features. One which I’m very excited to tell you all is the ability to do screen sharing while your on a call with someone just like on how iChat does it.
So far these are the new features for this release.
