Mafia Wars iPhone App
If you’re one of those fans of Mafia Wars by Zynga on Facebook, then you would be happy to know that they have now a native iPhone App that you can play right on your iPhone. It is an online game which follows the same gameplay of what you can play on Facebook.
You can invite your friends as well to be part of your mafia by giving them your Player ID which they can key in their apps to add you as an ally. And oh, while you’re at it, you can add me up as well if you won’t mind. (My Player ID is 3201 3953 03)
One feature that would really make this game really more interesting is to somehow tie it up with Facebook. Right now this app works as a stand alone version which you’ll manage aside from your Mafia Wars on Facebook. But I think with the Facebook Connect integration, this would be possible. Let’s just hope it will.
Mafia Wars is available for FREE at the App Store and is compatible for both iPhone & iPod Touch

I’ve been having problems on my Mafia Wars app since it’s last update.
My stamina, energy & health are all in 0 even if I haven’t played it.
Anyone else experiencing the same problem?
Or could it be because of tne iPhone 3.0 beta 5 update?

I have not upgraded to iPhone OS 3.0 beta … but I hope when it’s released on June 17th that Mafia Wars still works. As it is (still working on iPhone OS 2) I’ve noticed a handful of visual bugs, like half of the help page screen not drawing and job/weapon/property tiles doubling.
I’m hoping Zynga figures out Facebook Connect for Mafia Wars like they did for poker (but after the aforementioned bugs are fixed).
