Facebook for Adobe AIR

For all Facebook addicts out there, now you can check your account without opening up a browser. Introducing Facebook for Adobe Air.

Facebook for Adobe AIR is an application that runs on your desktop. You log in with your Facebook account and can then read your News Feed and publish content to your Wall and friends’ News Feed. You must install Adobe AIR first (http://get.adobe.com/air/).

Mafia Wars iPhone App

If you’re one of those fans of Mafia Wars by Zynga on Facebook, then you would be happy to know that they have now a native iPhone App that you can play right on your iPhone. It is an online game which follows the same gameplay of what you can play on Facebook.

You can invite your friends as well to be part of your mafia by giving them your Player ID which they can key in their apps to add you as an ally. And oh, while you’re at it, you can add me up as well if you won’t mind. (My Player ID is 3201 3953 03)

One feature that would really make this game really more interesting is to somehow tie it up with Facebook. Right now this app works as a stand alone version which you’ll manage aside from your Mafia Wars on Facebook. But I think with the Facebook Connect integration, this would be possible. Let’s just hope it will.
