Web Watch: Target

Starting this week, I’ll be starting to post some websites which I find not only appealing but usable as well. May this serve as inspiration to my fellow web/interactive designers out there.

To start off, I chanced to check out Target’s corporate site which I really liked. It is a very clean and minimalistic website with subtle graphical elements. It is laid out well that one can navigate around the site with ease. Hovering your mouse over the red side panels will allow you to play with the Target logos which I find it amusing.

HTML Ipsum: A Must Have for Web Designers

If you are a web/interactive designer and does a lot of html websites mockups with dummy content, then HTML Ipsum is a must have tool for you.

It is a tool that helps you generate html codes with that standard greek copy for putting in dummy or temporary content for websites you are creating while waiting for the actual copy. So need to type in those p, ul, li, blockquote tags yourself so you can save more time doing the more important things.

This is an initiative started out by Chris Coyier of CSS-Tricks which I follow regularly for his CSS tips and tricks for helping you out with your daily web designing life.

Below is a screen shot of the HTML Ipsum desktop application on a Mac which I happily use everyday.
